Jeri previously owned and operated a craft store where she was introduced to some of the pastimes she still pursues. She enjoys a number of creative outlets, which include writing, baking, and needlework. She has won several awards for her creations. With a lifelong desire to recreate and capture on canvas some of the beauty that is in the world, she decided to try her hand at oil painting. Several years ago, Jeri took some basic art classes to learn a few fundamentals to enable her to pursue these goals. While she has paintings as far away as Michigan, most of her work can be found locally in the North Georgia area. "I deeply enjoy the peace that I experience while creating a new painting, and I cherish the joy of sharing it with others."
