The Art Alliance of North Georgia
In October of 2002, three women came together to “ talk art “. The discussion was so informative that they decided to form a study group and meet on a regular basis. Soon other artists joined and the “ Art Alliance of North Georgia “ was born.
At these meetings, members receive information that is not covered in formal art classes : painting principles from guest speakers, how to prepare for a show and, best of all, an exchange of ideas and methods.
Since the inception of the Alliance, all the artists have grown in experience and expertise. Their paintings can be seen displayed in many and varied locations.
Although the artists deal in different mediums and styles, everyone contributes and everyone gets "something out of each and every meeting."
The goal of the Art Alliance of North Georgia is to give anyone who has a love of art a way to improve it and a place to share it.
